This leading Crypto firm is looking for seasoned financial accounting talent to join their team overseeing all finance-related matters in Hong Kong Office due to great success in their business last year. job scope.
As the Financial Accountant in a Leading Fintech Firm, your key responsibility will be:
  • Assure accurate and efficient financial and treasury operations, including but not limited to Hong Kong and China.
  • Monitor and reconcile customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate transaction.
  • Oversee the balance due process, including verification, approval, and payment processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of funding arrangements/ transactions and update financial statements accordingly.
  • Manage and maintain the general ledger and sub-ledgers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Perform regular reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of the accounting system.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders independently, such as auditors and local tax authorities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience 5 years in financial accounting, preferably within the crypto/ financial services industry or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and related financial instruments.
  • Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
