This leading Life Insurance Firm is looking for seasoned internal audit talent to lead their internal audit team and act as the key person for the firm. You will be leading a team of 5, reporting directly to the CEO. Great working culture and great remuneration package are provided.

As the Head of Internal Audit and the Key Person in a Leading Life Insurance Firm, your key responsibility will be to:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit strategy and annual audit plan aligned with the company’s objectives.
- Lead and manage audits across various departments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies, lead investigations when necessary
- Assess risks and controls within the organization and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop audit reports and communicate findings and recommendations to the senior management and stakeholders
- Monitor, validate, and report on the implementation status of recommendations
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits & examinations and foster strong relationships
- Serve as the Key Person in Control of Internal Audit function and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines within the Company
- Mentor and develop the internal audit team to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting the life insurance sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Over 15 years of relevant audit experience in the insurance, financial or a related industry
- Experience in overseeing the internal audit function in a life insurance company is preferred
- Professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA) is preferred
- Profound understanding of life insurance regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, diligent, strong business acumen with good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
