My client is a conglomerate and they are currently seeking for highly skilled Head of Procurement to join their team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all purchasing goods for their businesses, ensuring that they meet our high standards and are in alignment with our mission and values. The Head of Procurement will also lead new initiatives and oversee a team that is responsible for new businesses openings, requiring a careful balance of strategic planning and execution.
Job description:
  • Oversee all purchasing goods for our diverse businesses; from fine F&B products to operational goods, ensuring that they meet our high standards and align with our mission and values
  • Develop and execute new procurement initiatives to drive efficiency and cost savings, while maintaining quality
  • Lead a team responsible for purchasing goods for new businesses openings, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Partner with various internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop purchasing strategies that align with their goals
  • Establish and maintain procurement policies and procedures, ensuring that all purchasing activities comply with legal and ethical requirements
  • Assist in any ad hoc projects when needed
Skills & Experience required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in procurement, experienced in F&B/ hospitality or conglomerates are preferred
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with previous experience managing complex teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
