Job description

You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale, mission-critical initiative to modernize the bank's core banking platform. Leveraging your extensive experience in managing complex, enterprise-wide technology projects, you will be accountable for developing a comprehensive project plan, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful implementation within the approved budget and timeline.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale, complex digital transformation initiative for the bank's core banking system
  • Develop a comprehensive project plan, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, business, operations, compliance) to execute the project plan
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies in a timely manner
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress and success
  • Effectively communicate project status, risks, and decisions to executive stakeholders
  • Ensure project deliverables meet business and regulatory requirements
  • Manage the project budget and resources to deliver within the approved financial parameters
  • Drive continuous process improvement and implementation of best practices
  • Facilitate organizational change management to support the digital transformation
Required Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the banking/financial services industry
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, enterprise-wide technology projects.
  • In-depth understanding of the project lifecycle in core banking systems, digital transformation initiatives, and related technologies, etc.
  • Expertise in leading cross-functional teams and stakeholder management.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop detailed project plans, manage risks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is preferred
