job scope.
As the IT Risk & Control Managerl for digital platform and virtual asset in a leading regional bank, your key responsibility will be to:

Lead strategic partnerships and channel development for digital platforms, including e-wallet and stablecoin initiatives, to support organisational strategic objectives.
Develop and maintain robust internal control frameworks and procedures for virtual asset operations, encompassing tokenized funds and stablecoin transactions.
Collaborate closely with the Compliance team to monitor regulatory developments, including AML/KYC requirements, stablecoin regulations, tokenized fund guidelines, and e-wallet compliance standards set by the HKMA and other relevant authorities.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Legal and Compliance teams, liaising with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and third-party service providers to ensure adherence to regulations governing virtual assets and e-wallet services.
Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive quality assurance programme for virtual asset and e-wallet operations, identifying and mitigating risks associated with tokenized funds and stablecoin activities.
Assist the Head of Internal Control in investigating potential risk exposures, compliance incidents, or breaches related to e-wallet, stablecoin, and tokenized fund operations, coordinating with internal stakeholders.
Implement and oversee stringent controls for AML/KYC processes, ensuring compliance during client onboarding and ongoing monitoring for e-wallet and virtual asset services, including tokenized funds.
Partner with Transaction Banking stakeholders and engage with internal and external counterparts, including Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams, to ensure digital platform partnerships, e-wallet integrations, and tokenized fund projects align with regulatory standards and business objectives.
Maintain meticulous risk and control documentation, including audit logs for e-wallet transactions, stablecoin operations, and tokenized fund activities, ensuring traceability and governance.
Undertake ad hoc compliance and control projects related to e-wallet, stablecoin, and tokenized fund initiatives as assigned.

requirement.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of five years’ experience in corporate banking or institutional client services, with demonstrated expertise in virtual asset compliance, including e-wallet, stablecoin, and tokenized fund operations.
Comprehensive understanding of Hong Kong’s regulatory framework for virtual assets, e-wallets, stablecoins, and tokenized funds.
Strong familiarity with virtual assets, including tokenized funds, stablecoins, and e-wallet ecosystems.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
Collaborative team player with exceptional written and presentation capabilities.
Fluency in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
