Job description

We’re partnering with a listed clean technology group from Asia that is making its first major push into the UK and European markets. They’re seeking a Sales Director to lead this expansion, driving growth in the EV charging & solutions space.

This is a pivotal role - you’ll be at the forefront of building their presence in a new market, shaping strategy, opening doors, and laying the foundation for long-term success.

Job Description:
  • Define and execute the growth strategy for EV charging infrastructure and new energy solutions across the UK and European markets
  • Own the sales process end-to-end — from identifying opportunities to closing high-value commercial partnerships
  • Assess the need for building a local team to support long-term growth and scalability
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders in the EV ecosystem - including corporates, utilities, fleet operators, real estate owners, and government bodies - leveraging your industry network to unlock new revenue streams
  • Translate market insights into action, working with product, marketing, and operations teams to refine offerings and ensure strong market fit
  • Monitor EV industry trends, policies, and competitors, adjusting strategies to stay ahead and maintain competitive positioning
What we’re looking for:
  • At least 10 years of business development / sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • A strong track record in EV charging, renewable energy, or related B2B tech sectors 
  • Commercially astute, analytical, and comfortable managing multi-million revenue targets
  • Entrepreneurial, resilient, and motivated to build a business from the ground up
  • Fluency in English is essential; fluency in other languages such as Chinese, German, or French would be an advantage
  • Based in London with flexibility to travel when necessary
  • Eligible to work in the UK without company visa sponsorship
