job scope.
As the Senior AML Officer in a leading insurance firm, your key responsibility will be to:
  • Conduct thorough investigations into flagged transactions, preparing comprehensive Suspicious Transaction Reports for review by the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).
  • Perform detailed analyses and documentation to justify the resolution of name screening and transaction monitoring alerts, ensuring robust compliance protocols.
  • Liaise with Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) due diligence team for vendors and third parties, aligning with local, Group, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide expert guidance on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), sanctions, and ABC matters to business units, fostering a culture of compliance and regulatory excellence.
  • Execute meticulous compliance reviews focused on AML, Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), sanctions, and ABC frameworks.
  • Support the coordination and preparation of documentation for internal audits, regulatory inspections, and Group-level reviews.
  • Contribute to strategic ad hoc projects, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to emerging compliance challenges.

requirements.
  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years' AML, financial crime compliance or audit related experience in the insurance, banking or securities industry
  • Knowledge in insurance products is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good team player, detail-oriented, self-starter, highly motivated and eager to learn
  • Able to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines
  • Less experience candidate will be considered as Officer
