Job description

Our client is a fast-growing, innovative international Insurance Group with a solid focus on growing the Hong Kong business with a wide range of insurance products. They are currently hiring an Assistant Manager to support the team and a variety of projects. 
As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating the implementation of digital solutions within the organization. You will work with business and product owners to ensure that digital transformation is executed successfully and that end-users embrace the new ways of working. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering digital change management approaches and plans, and ensuring that stakeholders and end-users are engaged throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrable track record of successfully delivering transformation projects involving significant amounts of business changes.
  • Demonstrable end-to-end project management experience, from project scoping and definition, through to delivery and adoption
  • Experience in system implementation/migration projects would be advantageous.
  • Experience in successfully managing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and third parties within a matrix management environment
  • Strong people engagement skills, coupled with the drive, determination, and influencing skills to keep projects on track, and within timeframes.
  • Work creatively in a problem-solving environment to analyze complex issues and information and develop insightful presentations to make the case for change.
  • Work closely with business and product owners to define and deliver digital change management approaches and initiatives for direct engagements with key stakeholders and user groups.
  • Collecting and collating information, assessing, and reporting on the execution of standalone and complex, cross-functional projects including issue management, escalation, management communications, KPI tracking, and reporting.
  • Identify and manage foreseeable challenges, providing recommendations to promote user adoption and buy-in from end-users.
  • Establish positive rapport with key stakeholders and end-users; Conduct analysis on the feedback gathered from end-users and work with the corresponding product owner to explore potential solutions/new ways of working.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering / IT Degree or relevant disciplines
  • Experience in digital solution implementation projects/digital transformation projects.
  • 4+ years in change management, communications, or training
  • Solid understanding of the Business Platform landscape, including delivery methodologies of Agile.
  • Ability to gather, synthesize and analyze data and draw logical conclusions to make and/or suggest sound decisions, demonstrating insights from understanding the business as well as systems landscape.
  • Result-oriented; demonstrated history of exceptional work that has a direct impact to business.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce functionality and best practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skill
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies is a plus.
