As the Assistant Manager / Manager, Settlement in a Leading Financial Services, your key responsibility will be:
- Oversee and execute settlement operations for both domestic and international markets, driving efficiency and precision in all processes.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant transaction settlements.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust policies, procedures, and controls to uphold regulatory standards and internal governance frameworks.
- Swiftly address and resolve settlement discrepancies, offering expert guidance to colleagues as required.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and undertake special projects as directed, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in settlement operations, ideally within the Hong Kong market, with expertise in futures, stock options, and custody/nominee services being highly desirable.
- Proficiency with CCASS, DCASS, ET-Trade, Ayers systems, or comparable electronic settlement platforms.
- Strong understanding of local regulatory and compliance frameworks related to settlement operations is a distinct advantage.
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet operational demands.
- Meticulous attention to detail, a passion for continuous learning, and a client-centric approach.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration across teams.
- A dynamic team player with a proven ability to champion and implement change initiatives.
- Fluency in Cantonese and English, with proficiency in Mandarin considered an asset.
