Job Summary:

My client is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead outreach efforts to international corporate businesses. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in insurance sales, particularly in group medical and general insurance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth and expand market presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to penetrate new markets and increase client acquisition.
  • Identify and engage potential corporate clients to present insurance solutions, focusing on group medical and general insurance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within prospective organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor insurance products to meet client needs and ensure successful implementation.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
  • Deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing services and value propositions.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development in corporate client development, familiarity with group insurance, general insurance, or medical insurance, and an understanding of risk management are added advantages.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in English; communicating in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
