The Public Relations Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategic media relations initiatives to enhance the company’s reputation, promote its brand, and communicate key messages to the public. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, manage crisis communications, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and impactful messaging.

- Act as the primary spokesperson for the company, building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers
- Proactively pitch stories, secure media coverage, and manage press opportunities to promote the company’s initiatives, products, and thought leadership
- Monitor media trends and news cycles to identify opportunities and risks, providing timely recommendations to senior leadership
- Lead crisis communications efforts, including drafting statements, coordinating responses, and managing media inquiries during sensitive situations
- Collaborate with marketing, social media, and internal communications teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels
- Prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and other materials to support company announcements and campaigns
- Organize and manage press conferences, media briefings, and interviews with company executives
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of media relations efforts, using data to refine strategies and demonstrate ROI
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in media relations, public relations, or corporate communications, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry
- Proven track record of securing high-profile media coverage and managing complex communications campaigns
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and tailor messages for diverse audiences
- Established relationships with top-tier media outlets and journalists
- Good command of both Mandarin and English
