About the Opportunity:
  • As the Crypto Institutional Sales, you will play a crucial role in identifying and driving institutional sales opportunities. You will be responsible for building a healthy pipeline through sourcing and converting prospective opportunities from consulting, educating, planning to advisory services with institutional clients in Hong Kong. Your tasks will include developing client profiling, defining and evaluating new revenue streams, closing sales opportunities, ensuring client suitability, and acting as a brand ambassador for our client. Collaborating with their marketing teams, you will execute sales campaigns and provide valuable feedback to senior management and product-related teams.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Identify and drive institutional sales opportunities, building a healthy pipeline through sourcing and converting prospective opportunities from consulting, educating, planning to advisory services with institutional clients in Hong Kong.
  • Develop client profiling by identifying previous success cases and developing them into viable, replicable efforts to repeat success and determine where marketing efforts should be channeled.
  • Define and evaluate new revenue streams and opportunities with existing or new clients, such as Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Venture Capital Firms, Endowments, Private Equity Firms, Private Wealth Managers, and Sovereign Wealth Funds.
  • Close sales opportunities with a particular focus on high revenue, high impact value deals (Cash OTC, Derivatives, Custody, Lending, VIP Loans, Staking).
  • Ensure prospects or new clients are in good standing and will not introduce risk to our client, be it financial reputation, regulatory compliance, or other factors.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contractual and commercial terms with legal teams.
  • Conduct an initial level of due diligence on prospects as required.
  • Articulate client feedback and gaps in service/product offerings to senior management teams and product-related teams with suggested proposals.
  • Act as the brand ambassador, representing our client for institutional clients in the region.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to smoothly execute sales campaigns.

What We Look For In You:
  • Demonstrates passion and enthusiasm for crypto products with a particular emphasis on our client's key offerings.
  • Experienced sales professional with a proven track record of building prospect pipelines, developing opportunities, and closing deals.
  • Ability to negotiate contractual and commercial terms. Able to work with the legal team on ensuring our client's interests are safeguarded.
  • In-depth knowledge of the institutional crypto landscape of the country.
  • Well connected in the local institutional crypto community.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of products that our client offers for institutional clients (Block Trading, Derivatives such as Perps/Futures/Options/Margin, Cash OTC).
  • Aware and updated of the ever-changing regulatory environment in the crypto industry and the impact/opportunities it can bring to our client.
  • Excellent planning and prioritization skills to manage sales in an organized, structured manner.
  • Qualities that we are looking for: self-motivated, team player, independent, detail-oriented, organized, problem solver.
