Head of Procurement

My client is an MNC who is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Procurement to join their prestigious organization. As the Head of Procurement, you will lead the procurement team and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our procurement operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Lead the procurement team in sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure best value for goods and services.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring compliance with quality standards, pricing, delivery terms, and service levels.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favourable terms and conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve any issues, and implement strategies to improve supplier quality and service.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to optimize procurement processes without compromising quality or guest satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster long-term partnerships and secure competitive pricing and preferred terms.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A relevant professional certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing or other relevant fields
• Candidates from MNC, Luxury, or Hospitality industry has an added advantage
• Proven track record of successfully managing procurement operations and delivering cost savings in a hospitality environment.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and the aptitude to lead and inspire a team.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Good command of English and Cantonese
