Infrastructure System Engineer (FS)

Responsible for the design, implementation, and management of mission-critical technology infrastructure and systems that support the operations of a leading financial services organization and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the company's technology environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-level server, storage, and systems,
• Develop and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure high availability and data protection
• Oversee the integration, deployment, and maintenance of critical financial applications and core banking systems
• Continuously monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues, and implement proactive measures to maintain optimal uptime
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application developers and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions
• Develop and document comprehensive standard operating procedures, policies, and technical documentation
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, and recommend strategic initiatives to enhance the organization's capabilities
• Manage IT projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timely delivery of project milestones
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and internal policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience as a System Engineer or Senior System Administrator in a complex, enterprise-level environment, preferably in the financial services industry
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and enterprise applications.
• Strong background in implementing and maintaining comprehensive IT security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and identity management
• Proficient in project management methodologies and possess excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Experience in managing IT budgets and resources, and negotiating with vendors and service providers.
• Solid experience in Windows Server (AD, ADFS, Group Policy, DNS), MS SQL Server, Linux, VMware VSphere, ESXi Deployment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
