Supply Chain Director

My client is a MNC who is looking for a Supply Chain Director responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end supply chain operations. This role involves strategic planning, process optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure an efficient and effective supply chain that meets the company's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance supply chain processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Identify bottlenecks, implement best practices, and leverage technology solutions to optimize the flow of goods, information, and services.
• Oversee the selection, evaluation, and management of suppliers and vendors
• Develop inventory strategies to balance supply and demand, minimize stockouts, and optimize inventory levels across the supply chain.
• Implement inventory control systems, forecast demand, and monitor inventory performance to ensure optimal working capital utilization.
• Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Identify potential risks to the supply chain and develop contingency plans and establish business continuity protocols to ensure supply chain resilience.
• Foster and lead a high-performing supply chain team. Set clear objectives, provide coaching and development opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in supply chain management. Experience in a leadership or director-level role is essential.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, best practices, and industry trends.
• Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
• Outstanding leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
